Two Quilling and Huskings Boards with Designs Pack

The most useful Quilling Boards we know! There are two foam boards, one A4 (29cm x 19cm) approx., large enough for a full size paper design, and a smaller one, 12cm square approx, handy to pop in your workbox, at least one side smooth to work on.
There are easy to follow instructions and drawings, showing you how to make many different Huskings or Alternate Side Looping shapes using the boards and the coloured headed pins (supplied), and there is a colour picture of a finished pattern which is a beautiful flowery picture to make, using the knowledge you now have. Really useful, light to carry, this is a piece of equipment you will use again and again.
- Quilling and Husking Boards Set - £6.40 pack
Quilling Glue
A suitably tacky, good quality, washable P.V.A. glue which dries clear, yet doesn't form an annoying skin in the bottle. You can even use it to coat solid free-standing figures, cones, animals' eyes, etc. It is non-toxic, quick grab, water based, and ideal for craftspeople and children alike. (It's also extremely good for quilling!).
Remember, less is more - use as little glue as possible when quilling, which is why our glue is so good, sticking so well. We use a 'Fine Tip Applicator' which we leave in a pot with a lid, upside down on a damp sponge or kitchen roll, for ease of use and carrying, or you can just leave a cocktail stick in an open pot and drip in a drop of water if the glue gets too thick.
- 60g bottle with spout - £3.00 each
- 150g bottle with spout - £4.75 each
Extra Strong Quilling Glue
An even more permanent, good quality PVA glue, particularly suitable where one surface is not porous - e.g. when sticking 'Mirror Strips',
or paper strips to certain plastics. It dries clear. (Not soluble when dry, so sponge off clothing with water as soon as possible.)
- 60g bottle with spout - £3.65 each
JJ Fine Tip Applicator
A stainless steel fine glue applicator which allows you to apply a tiny spot of glue just where needed. Good quilling glue needs only a very small amount to work, so it shouldn't feature as part of your picture. If you store your glue bottle with applicator, inverted, in a pot with a moist sponge you will keep the nozzle freely flowing. Just snip off the very end of the glue spout of a bottle of our quilling glue (see above) and the tip screws on. You can unscrew it to clean occasionally by soaking in water.
- JJ Applicator tip only to screw on - £2.00 each
- JJ Applicator tip with 60g bottle of Quilling Glue - £5.00 each
Extra Fine Tip Applicator
Makes so fine a line of glue that you can write with it! Ideal too for fine detail with paints, resists, ceramics, model making and when decorating sweets and cakes. Just snip off the very end of the glue spout of our quilling glue and the tip screws on.
- Extra Fine Applicator tip with 60g bottle of Quilling Glue - £6.25 each
JJ Quilling Needle Tools

Have a slotted metal needle end for tighter centres and wooden handles, a dowel for the Standard tool and a thicker turned handle for the Deluxe tool. Try protecting them with a old pen top - we sometimes can include one. We advise that young people are supervised while using quilling tools, or better yet use fingers only.
- Standard tool - £2.95 £2.00 each
- Deluxe tool - £3.95 £3.00 each
JJ 6" Locking Angled Tweezers
At last, some really good stainless steel forceps with an angled point and a locking device, ideal for holding coils safely and placing them accurately. Very useful for eccentric coils or if you need help to grip coils - or you can even dissect worms, if that's your thing!
JJ Squeeze-to-Open, Release-to-close 6" Angled Tweezers

Squeeze the 'wooden' handles to open, then loosen your grip to pick up and hold your coils firmly with no effort. Ideal for those with unsteady grip or to hold shapes while glue dries. Fascinating!
JJ Needle Fine Tweezers

These must be the finest tweezers you can get! I bet you could play darts with them. Excellent for fine work, these needle fine tweezers get to places other tweezers cannot reach. Please do not let a child use these. Made for us in stainless steel, they are easy to hold and are a must for your craft box.
JJ Fine Straight Tweezers

Here's a pair of 5" stainless steel forceps which is so pointed it can easily pick up small coils! A very popular pair of tweezers for general use.
JJ 5" Flat Acute Ended Tweezers

Made especially for us, these useful stainless steel tweezers have a flat end that angles to a point. They are long enough to be easy to hold and use, and are ideal for picking up and placing those delicate Open Coils.
Turn them over to use the point to manipulate small coils.
JJ Tweezers Special Offer Set
A set of four of our useful JJ Tweezers. One of each of: our 6" Locking Angled Tweezers, 6" Squeeze-to-Open - Release-to-Close Tweezers, 5" Flat Acute Ended Tweezers and our 5' Fine Straight Tweezers.
An ideal gift for a keen crafter, this tweezer set offers you the right tool for whatever the job!
Fine Straight Tweezers - we use most of all for general quilling techniques - gets into little places
Flat Acute Ended Tweezers - especially good for holding and gluing down the delicate Open Coil filigree work, single lengths of strip, etc. and yet big enough to hold easily - turn them over to use either the flat end or the sharper point
Angled Locking Tweezers - sometimes, a bend in the end of tweezers makes for easier gluing down. 'Locking' means you can easily make Eccentric Coils and anything where pressure is needed while the glue dries

Squeeze-to-Open, Release-to-Close Tweezers - lots of Jane's students use these - it means you can relax while holding a coil or husking, etc., without it dropping (always gluey-side down, of course!) just where it shouldn't.
- Usually all 4 of these cost over £14.00 - but the Special Offer is they're now only - £12.20 a set!
JJ Quilling Scissors
These stainless steel scissors are so sharp, with a good point for easy and accurate fringing and very comfortable plastic handles to avoid "Fringer's Finger". These scissors have been made to the same standard as the much more expensive Japanese ones we like a lot and have lived up to their promise.
They are a must for any fine cutting needs, like decoupage, parchment craft, paper snipping and cutting; and, of course, they can be used for embroidery, trimming the eyebrows... (see Bulldog Clips and the book
'Fringed Flower Hybrids' for the many variations in fringing when quilling.)
JJ Craft Scissors
These are 4½' stainless steel useful small scissors with plastic covered handles, an effective and inexpensive tool for so many crafts.
Bulldog Clips 140mm - Extra Wide for Fringing
Fold your strip twice, in quarters. The Bulldog Clip holds the full edge of the strip that you don't want to fringe so you can hold it easily and snip up to the clip without any mistakes (see JJ Quilling Scissors picture).
Onion Holders
For making Spreuers patterns with our Spreuers Kit designs.
Crimping Machine
For some designs you need your strips to be crimped, which this metal tool does quickly and effectively, now for paper widths up to 12mm. The metal cogs give you much crisper crimps than with plastic cogs. Fill your quilled shapes or create attractive borders with crimped strips. Fold your strips for speed. This crimper is deliberately made so that up to four strips will go through together, if a thicker appearance is required. Try using differently coloured strips. Made partly with recycled metal parts, with brass cogs for best crimping. Built to last!
